When the unit was checked it was found that the thermostat was not turned down to where it should have been. Operator turned thermostat down. Walk in cooler- turkey sliced 46° cold hold, ground beef 47°F cold hold, coleslaw45°F cold hold, mashed potatoes 45°F cold holding. The operator had turned the walk in cooler to defrost ice build up less than 2 hours before the inspection. A small amount of ice remained. I recommend the unit be looked at by a repairman.
