Observed facility could not provide up to date gas fired equipment inspection. All gas-fired equipment shall be inspected at least annually by a qualified licensed contractor or local fire authority, if available. PIC needs to have inspector come as soon as possible. Will follow up

Observed meth pipe between box spring and mattress in room 222. Beds, mattresses, springs, slats, mattress pads, mattress and bed coverings, pillow and pillow covers shall be clean and free from vermin. Hinesville PD removed any drug paraphernalia. PIC needs to ensure they are checking under the mattress when cleaning rooms

Observed facility did not have most recent inspection report posted at time of inspection. The most recent tourist accommodation inspection report form shall be prominently displayed in public view at all times. PIC needs to ensure they post new inspection report

Observed toilet in room 206 will not flush. Toilet rooms and fixtures must be smooth and nonabsorbent and shall be kept clean and in good repair. PIC must have toilet fixed before allowing guests to stay in the room

Observed clothing item under bed in room 104. Observed rag under bed in room 108. Observed dust and debris under beds in rooms 104,107,108, and 203. Floors, walls, ceilings. windows, doors and all other appurtenances shall be of sound construction, properly maintained in good repair and shall be kept clean. PIC needs to have housekeeping clean under beds

Observed black substance buildup on ice machine dispenser. Ice machines shall be maintained in good repair and capable of being properly cleaned and sanitized according to the manufacturer’s recommendations. Scoops, ice buckets, and other ice handling equipment, shall be of easily cleanable material and construction. They shall be stored in a clean place and shall be kept clean. PIC needs to clean ice machine
