Permit/Opening
1 - barrier: pool enclosed/fencing in compliance
Regulation: 511-3-5-.18(11)(a) - (11) barriers. all outdoor swimming pools and spas shall be enclosed by a barrier to prevent entry to the pool area when the pool is closed. (a) the top of the barrier shall be at least forty eight inches above grade maesured on the side of the bar
There is no barrier between the tennis courts and the pool. Guests can enter through gates into the tennis court and walk directly into pool area. All outdoor swimming pools and spas shall be enclosed by a barrier to prevent entry to the pool area. Means of prevention can be discussed and alternative procedures may be used for 2026 pool season, but this must be fully corrected prior to permitting for 2027 season. Currently the exterior gate to tennis courts can only be accessed via a key fob. This does provide some protection into the pool area and can be used at the alternative method for this season only. A complete barrier must be provided prior to permitting season 2027.
5 - emergency phone operational and accessible
Regulation: 511-3-5-.18(10)(c ) - (c) an operable, hard-wired, conventional telephone line or continuous powered source, weatherproof emergency phone shall be permanently installed in a conspicuous location within the pool enclosure and must be readily available to bathers at all tim
The emergency phone box is not within the enclosure of the pool. The connection to 911 emergency operations and proper signage must be present prior to permitting. Sign is present in clubhouse- it will not stay on the wall. Management states it will need to be drilled in. Relocating the emergency phone box to the interior of the pool enclosure must be done prior to 2027 permitting season.
6 - proper disinfectant level
Regulation: .17((1)(c) - proper disinfectant level
The chlorine exceeds the maximum allowance of 10ppm. Reduce chlorine. Must be corrected prior to permitting. Chlorine in stabilized pools must be between 2pp-10ppm.
7 - ph between 7.2 and 7.8
Regulation: 511-3-5-.17(2) - (2) chemical values: ph
The pH does not meet minimum requirement of 7.2ppm. pH should be maintained between 7.2 and 7.8. Must be corrected prior to permitting
11 - appropriate lifesaving equipment present

The ring buoy is not coast guard approved. 19 - adequate turnover rate

One flow meter is not properly working and the correct turnover rate can not be verified. Must be corrected prior to permitting inspection.

The incorrect fitting is present in the vacuum line at the seat bench. Must be corrected prior to permitting inspection. The vacuum line shall be protected with a self-closing, self-latching fitting that complies with the current IAMPO SPS 4- Special Use Suction Fitting for Swimming Pools, Spas and Hot Tubs. This line does not appear to be a fill line. The use of this line must be confirmed. CPO states only one vac line present (it is properly covered).
35 - operator facility inspections performed; written documentation

The words "No Diving" and the universal symbol for No Diving is not present at depth markers on deck. Correct prior to permitting season 2028. The words "No Diving" and the universal international symbol for “NO DIVING” shall be permanently visible at the edge of the deck for water five feet in depth or less, placed only on the deck beside the depth markers, and shall conform to that outlined in the code.

12 - grab/hand rails, ladders installed and secure
Regulation: 511-3-5-.06(3)(f)1. - 1. handrails, if removable, shall be installed in such a way that they cannot be removed without the use of tools.
The steps indicated as a ladder do not have hand rails present. Ladders shall provide two handholds or two handrails. Ladder rails have been ordered.

Regulation: 511-3-5-.06(1)(f) - (f) the deck, including coping, shall have a minimum four feet width of continuous, unobstructed walking area maintained at all times unless otherwise allowed in the chapter.
The pool patio furniture at the closest point to the clubhouse does not allow a 4 ft continuous walking space around the edge of the pool. Must be corrected prior to permitting inspection. A minimum four foot deck width shall be provided on the sides and rear of any diving equipment or waterslide stairs. A deck clearance of forty-eight inches shall be provided around all deck equipment.
16 - pool deck: maintained, unobstructed and clean
Regulation: 511-3-5-.06(1)(s) - (s) there shall be no direct connection between the deck drains and the sanitary or storm sewer system, or the gutter or skimmer recirculation system.
A garden hose is present with the end submerged in the pool water. There is no back flow prevention device on the hose or spigot to prevent back sigphonage. .04(9)(d): There are broken brick stairs present near the pump room. Repair steps to ensure injury to bathers does not occur. All surfaces that come in contact with the user shall be finished so that they do not constitute a cutting, pinching, puncturing or abrasion hazard under casual contact and intended use. All materials shall be maintained in accordance with manufacturer's instructions.
37 - other violations of the chapter
.17(2) The alkalinity does not meet minimum requirements. Alkalinity is required to be at 60ppm minimum and 180 ppm maximum. Speak with CPO about adjusting the alkalinity in the pool, then verify the pH is within proper range.
