1-2A - pic present, demonstrates knowledge, performs duties

Observed food allergy awareness training no available during time of inspection. Advised PIC that employees are properly trained in food safety, including food allergy awareness, as it relates to their assigned duties. Food allergy awareness includes describing foods identified as major food allergens and the symptoms that a major food allergen could cause in a sensitive individual who has an allergic reaction. Advised PIC to obtain a food allergy awareness training and to provide to the Health Authority upon request. <BR> Observed Key Drop Delivery Contract not available during time of inspection. Employees are visibly observing and verifying delivered foods as they are received to determine that they are from approved sources and are placed into appropriate storage locations, as required by this Chapter, such that they are received and maintained at the required temperatures, protected from contamination, unadulterated, and accurately presented, by routinely monitoring the employees’ observations, maintaining receiving/corrective action records for deliveries during non-operating hours, and periodically evaluating foods upon their receipt as specified within DPH Rule 511-6-1-.04(3)(m). Advised PIC to obtain Key Drop Delivery Contract and provide upon request of the Health Authority.
4-2B - food-contact surfaces: cleaned & sanitized

Observed food contact surfaces of a microwave stored as clean with food debris and residue. Also observed soda nozzles near the drive thru window stored as clean with black residue. Advised PIC equipment food contact surfaces and utensils shall be cleaned at any time during the operation when contamination may have occurred. Advised PIC to increase the cleaning frequency of soda nozzles and microwave.

Upon arrival, observed the 2025 permit not posted in public view. Advised PIC that a current Food Service Establishment permit shall be posted in public view. Advised PIC to obtain the 2025 Food Service Establishment and to post in public view.

Observed nonfood contact surfaces of the interior of RIC 1, interior of multiple warmer cabinets with excessive debris and residue. Advised PIC Nonfood-contact surfaces of equipment shall be kept free of an accumulation of dust, dirt, food residue, and other debris. Advised PIC to thoroughly clean nonfood contact surfaces of warmer cabinets and RIC 1.
