Observed no food allergy training when requested. Advised PIC employees are properly trained in food safety, including food allergy awareness, as it relates to their assigned duties. Food allergy awareness includes describing foods identified as major food allergens and the symptoms that a major food allergen could cause in a sensitive individual who has an allergic reaction.

Upon arrival, Observed back door of facility open when not in use. Advised PIC outer openings of a food service establishment shall be protected against the entry of insects and rodents by: solid, self-closing, tight-fitting doors.

Observed most recent inspection report not posted in public display. Advised PIC the most current inspection report shall be prominently displayed in public view at all times, within fifteen feet of the front or primary public door and between five feet and seven feet from the floor and in an area where it can be read at a distance of one foot away.

Observed ice machine not working, in disrepair. Advised PIC equipment shall be maintained in a state of repair.
