Routine
1 - adequate, approved, permitted, protected potable water supply; no cross connection or back siphonage
Regulation: 511-6-2-.07(2) - water supply and sanitizing
Observed hot water temperatures exceeding 120F for rooms 330 (123F), 333 (121F0, 218 (121F), 331 (122F), 345 (121F), 220 (121F). Advised PIC in existing tourist accommodations, hot water in all guest rooms shall not exceed 120F. Advised PIC to decrease hot water temperature in the boiler room
27 - all furniture, waste receptacles, draperies, carpets; clean, and in good repair, considered the property of and furnished by the tourist accommodation

Observed rusting and debris in microwave in rooms 136, 130, 218, 333, and 330; observed rusting on interior/exterior of refrigerator in rooms 333, 228, and 130; observed holes and staining on curtain in rooms 331, 228, and 345; observed minor staining on carpet in room 228; observed residue onthe interior of the coffee maker in room 333. Advised PIC All furniture, draperies, appliances, carpets, and other accessories, in the tourist accommodation, whether the property of the tourist accommodation owner or not, shall be considered the property of and furnished by the tourist accommodation for purposes of enforcement of this Chapter, and must be maintained in good repair, clean, and free of vermin. Advised PIC to clean and repair all furnishings in guestrooms
28 - beds, mattresses, mattress pads, springs, frames, pillows, and bed coverings clean; vermin free and in good condition; bed linen properly supplied, changed and laundered
Regulation: 511-6-2-.14(6) - bed, bedding, and linens
Observed staining and holes on bed linens in rooms 220, 136, 228, and 218. Advised PIC that all bedding including bed linens, pillows, mattresses, and bed skirts shall be kept clean and in good condition. Advised PIC to clean and replace bed linens
16 - toilet/lavatory/bathing facility fixtures and rooms clean and maintained; properly lighted, clearly marked, proper signage, and all in good repair

Observed rusting and debris in tub in rooms 330 and 130; observed staining on towel in room 333; observed paint peeling in bathroom ceiling in room 218 and 331; observed bathtub caulking in disrepair in room 218. Advised PIC that all bathing facilities and their fixtures must be smooth nonabsorbent and shall be kept clean and in good repair. Advised PIC to clean and repair bathrooms
24 - openings to outside and physical facilities protected by tight-fitting doors, screening, or other means
Regulation: 511-6-2-.13(3) - insect and rodent control-openings
Observed visible light entry at the entrance door in rooms 220, 116, 136, 130, 228, and 218. Advised PIC Openings to the outside shall be effectively protected against the entrance of rodents and insects by tight-fitting doors, closed windows, screening, controlled air currents or other means. Advised PIC to place weatherstrip/sealant to entrance doors of guestrooms
15 - ice from approved source; properly handled, supplied and stored; equipment approved/clean
Regulation: 511-6-2-.07(8) - ice supply
Observed 2nd floor ice machine (white panel) stored as clean with brown residue/mold like substance. Advised PIC that all ice machines shall be maintained and kept clean at all times. Advised PIC to thoroughly clean ice machine
