Observed personal items, including an employee coat stored on the dry storage rack and a cellphone placed on a prep table, in areas where they could contaminate food and food-contact items. CA: Employee personal belongings must be stored only in designated areas so they do not contaminate food, equipment, utensils, or single-service items. Personal items such as coats, bags, and electronics cannot be kept on food-contact or food-storage surfaces. COS: PIC removed the personal items from the dry storage rack and prep table and relocated them to an appropriate designated area.
