Hand wash sink near WIC observed blocked by broom and dustpan & trash can. PIC removed all from hand sink area.
4-2B - food-contact surfaces: cleaned & sanitized
Regulation: 511-6-1.05(6)(n) - manual and mechanical warewashing equipment, chemical sanitization-temperature, ph, concentration, hardness (p,pf)
Sanitizer buckets not registering proper sanitation levels. PIC remade sani-buckets.
6-2 - proper date marking and disposition
Regulation: 511-6-1.04(6)(g) - ready-to-eat time/temperature control for safety food, date marking (pf)
Chicken wings in WIC not marked with discard date. PIC advised to use 7 day discard date labels for all food held over 24 hours.
