4-2B - food-contact surfaces: cleaned & sanitized
Regulation: 511-6-1.05(7)(b) - food contact surfaces and utensils - cleaning frequency (p, c)
Observed several food contact surfaces of equipment (pot pie tongs, counters, breading station) with excess buildup of food product. These items are not being cleaned/sanitized every 4 hours as required. Discussed cleaning/sanitizing methods for other food contact surfaces that could not be addressed immediately with PIC.
A drawer warmer was observed leaking, with water dripping near the food preparation counter. A pan had been placed beneath the leak to collect water. Manager was advised to make sure that water does not come in contact with food. This must be repaired by next inspection.

The floors in the freezer were observed to be heavily soiled, with significant food debris accumulation near the freezer entrance. Facility is in need of thorough cleaning. Regular cleaning schedule must be established and maintained.

The soda machine located next to the drive-thru window was observed with heavy buildup of soda residue on the exterior surfaces and on the counters around it. Regular cleaning schedule must be established and maintained.

Dust accumulation was observed above food prep area on the screens where orders are visible. Regular cleaning schedule must be established and maintained.

A fryer was observed leaking, with pooled, cooled grease present on the floor beneath the unit. Manager states there is a work order in place to have this fixed. Please have this fixed by next inspection.
