Observed WIC in the dry storage area of the kitchen to still have active work order. Canvas repair of roof to be completed prior to end of the year. WIC floor felt soft to touch but weather was significant downpour rain before and during inspection and no water squished out beneath Inspector feet. Facility staff are routinely mopping and wet vacuuming the cooler floor. CA: The roof leak must be remedied to prevent contamination of food items stored in the walk-in cooler.

Observed water bubbling up under the floor of the walk in cooler in the dry storage area of the kitchen due to an ongoing roof leak. This roof leak was originally observed in 2022 and has had an ongoing work order since then. The roof leak must be remedied to prevent contamination of food items stored in the walk in cooler. CFSM will speak with upper management again, but this is an ongoing issue that must be fixed in a timely manner. Roof contractor last at facility in late Autumn. Excess water is mopped and dry vacuumed as often as needed at this time by staff.
