During routine inspection, observed food service employee arrive to start their shift. Upon entering the kitchen, food service employee did not wash hands. Employee was observed putting away personal items and putting on hair restraint. Employee was then seen wearing gloves and stated they did not wash hands before putting on gloves to begin working with food.

Corrective Action: PIC was notified and instructed food service employee to remove gloves and wash hands. Discussed when to wash requirements with PIC. PIC will train all food service employees on washing hands.
