Weirs are not present in each skimmer. Each skimmer shall have a weir that adjusts automatically to variations in water level.

The hand rail near the pump house is not secured to the deck. Screws into deck appear to be missing. Handrails, if removable, shall be installed in such a way that they cannot be removed without the use of tools.

The words "No Diving" does not meet the minimum height requirements for the depth markers. There is no universal symbol for No Diving present at each depth marker. The words "No Diving" and the universal international symbol for “NO DIVING” shall be permanently visible at the edge of the deck for water five feet in depth or less, placed only on the deck beside the depth markers, and shall conform to that outlined for depth markers. Correct prior to permitting 2028.

The Clayton Co. emergency phone operator indicates that the address associated with the phone line is 5441 Denny Dr. College Park, GA. The correct address must be established with 911 to ensure timely response in the event of an emergency. Call for reinspection once this has been corrected.

Observed that the international symbol for "no diving" was not present on the pools edge as required and No Diving does not meet the minimum 4" letter size requirement. CA: The words "No Diving" and the universal international symbol for “NO DIVING” shall be permanently visible at the edge of the deck for water five feet in depth or less, placed only on the deck beside the depth markers, and shall conform to that outlined for depth markers.

Observed vacuum line was not protected. CA: The vacuum line shall be protected with a self-closing, self-latching fitting that complies with the current IAMPO SPS 4- Special Use Suction Fitting for Swimming Pools, Spas and Hot Tubs.

Observed that the flow meter is not properly working. CA: A flow meter measuring the rate of flow through the filter system with an appropriate range readable in gallons per minute (GPM) and accurate within ten percent actual flow shall be provided.

Observed that there is no available information to verify a daily safety check is being performed. CA: A safety self-inspection shall be conducted daily by the trained operator or responsible person and documented on a log sheet.

Observed there are no available records onsite to verify twice daily chemical testing is performed. CA: The trained operator or responsible person shall collect water samples from the water in the pool for monitoring. The water quality testing frequency shall be completed based on the requirements of the code.

Observed that the skimmer equalize lines were not protected by the float valve assembly. CA: Skimmer lines shall be properly protected.

Observed that a pressure gauge was not working and were reading 0. CA:A pressure or vacuum gauge or other means of indicating system condition shall be provided in the circulation system in an easily readable location.

Observed that the emergency phone did not work. CA: An operable, hard-wired, conventional telephone line or continuous powered source, weatherproof emergency phone shall be permanently installed in a conspicuous location within the pool enclosure and must be readily available to bathers at all times.

Observed that the life ring did not have a rope attached. CA: A minimum one-fourth inch diameter throwing rope one and one-half times the maximum width of the pool or fifty feet in length, whichever is less, to which has been firmly attached a ring buoy with an outside diameter of approximately fifteen inches or a similar flotation device which is U.S. Coast Guard approved

Observed that not all of the verbiage on the lifeguard sign was four inches tall. CA: Where no lifeguard is on duty, a sign or signs shall be placed in clear view at or near the entrance to the pool and shall state in clearly legible letters at least four inches high “WARNING - NO LIFE GUARD ON DUTY and RISK OF DROWNING - SUPERVISE CHILDREN CLOSELY”.

Provide record of daily water testing.
