7 - ph between 7.2 and 7.8
Regulation: 511-3-5-.23(5)(b) - (b) during operation, the ph is less than the minimum or more than the maximum levels allowed in dph rule 511-3-5-.l7.
The pH does not meet minimum requirement of 7.2ppm. Must be corrected prior to re-inspection. pH should be maintained between 7.2 and 7.8. Must be corrected prior to permitting.
14 - vacuum line protected
Regulation: 511-3-5-.10(7) - (7) the vacuum line shall be protected with a self-closing, self-latching fitting that complies with the current iampo sps 4- special use suction fitting for swimming pools, spas and hot tubs.
The vacuum line is not covered with the correct fitting. The vacuum line shall be protected with a self-closing, self-latching fitting that complies with the current IAMPO SPS 4- Special Use Suction Fitting for Swimming Pools, Spas and Hot Tubs.
16 - pool deck: maintained, unobstructed and clean
Regulation: 511-3-5-.06(1)(g) - (g) a minimum four foot deck width shall be provided on the sides and rear of any diving equipment or waterslide stairs. a deck clearance of forty-eight inches shall be provided around all deck equipment.
Pool chairs are present right at the pool's edge. Chairs must be pushed back to allow a 4 ft continuous walking space around pool. The deck, including coping, shall have a minimum four feet width of continuous, unobstructed walking area maintained at all times.
22 - signs: peak occupancy/pool/spa/signs legible and in clearview
Regulation: 511-3-5-.18(12)(b) - (b) where no lifeguard is on duty, a sign or signs shall be placed in clear view at or near the entrance to the pool and shall state in clearly legible letters at least four inches high “warning - no life guard on duty and risk of drowning - supervis
The "No Lifeguard on Duty" sign does not meet the code requirements; letter height is not at least 4 inches. Where no lifeguard is on duty, a sign or signs shall be placed in clear view at or near the entrance to the pool and shall state in clearly legible letters at least four inches high “WARNING - NO LIFE GUARD ON DUTY and RISK OF DROWNING - SUPERVISE CHILDREN CLOSELY”.

.17(2): The is insufficient calcium hardness in the pool. hardness is required to be at 150 ppm minimum and 1000 ppm maximum. Speak with CPO about adjusting calcium in the pool.
