Observed can opener blade with encrusted material on blade. Employees shall maintain that can opener blade is routinely disassembled and washed, rinsed, and sanitized to prevent buildup, which can contaminate food. Employee acquired new can opener during inspection to install.
6-2 - proper date marking and disposition

Observed two half gallon containers of buttermilk with manufacturer date of February 13th being stored 5 days past. Employees shall maintain that all commercially prepared foods are discarded by manufacturers use by date. Employee discarded food.
18 - insects, rodents, and animals not present
Regulation: 511-6-1.07(2)(m) - outer openings protected (c)
Observed air curtain not in operation when outer doors were maintained open. Employees shall maintain that if outer doors are to remain open then an operational air curtain must be in place.
