Observed organic growth inside ice machine. Equipment food-contact surfaces and utensils shall be clean to sight and touch. PIC advised to clean and sanitize ice machine using EPA registered sanitizer.

Observed employee handling food with bracelet on wrist. Except for a plain ring such as a wedding band food employees may not wear jewelry including medical information jewelry on their arms and hands while preparing food. COS Bracelet was removed.

Observed wiping cloth in sanitizer bucket with a 0ppm sanitizer reading. Wiping cloths must be held between uses in a chemical sanitizer at appropriate concentration. COS. sanitizer solution was remade to a concentration of 300ppm quat.

Observed inside microwave not clean to sight and touch. CA. PIC advised that nonfood-contact surfaces of equipment shall be kept free of an accumulation of dust, dirt, food residue, and other debris.

Observed food handling employee eat food from gloved hand while preparing grab and go servings. Employee’s hands went into mouth while eating and employee continued to scoop food. COS employee removed gloves and washed hands.
Employees must wash hands after engaging in other activities that contaminate the hands.
