Regulation: 511-6-1.06(2)(c) - handwashing sinks, installation (pf, c)
Observed facility doesn't have any hot water for washing hands in the hand washing sink. CA: Discussed with the person in charge that a handwashing sink shall be equipped to provide tempered water at a temperature of at least 85ºF (29.4 ºC) through a mixing valve or combination faucet. COS: Person in charge set up a temporary handwashing sink by providing hot water from the coffee machine. Advised the person in charge to fix the hand sink by 06/12/2026.
4-2B - food-contact surfaces: cleaned & sanitized
Regulation: 511-6-1.05(6)(n) - manual and mechanical warewashing equipment, chemical sanitization-temperature, ph, concentration, hardness (p,pf)
Observed facility doesn't have any kind of chemical solution to sanitize the equipment in the 3-compartement sink. CA: Discussed with the person in charge that all equipment must be sanitized by a chemical sanitizer approved by EPA.
