In all new tourist accommodations, and where possible in existing tourist accommodations, hot water in all guest rooms shall not exceed 120F. The following rooms where hot water exceeded 120F: 510, 501, 401, 406, 310, 208, 201, 107. These rooms had excessive water temperature in their kitchen and/or bathroom hand sinks. Advised PIC to have water heaters turned down for building so that the water temperature for sinks is between 110F and 120F

Beds, mattresses, springs, slats, mattress pads, mattress and bed coverings, pillow and pillow covers shall be clean and free from vermin. Observed stained mattress/mattress pads in the following rooms: 501, 532, 401, 425, 323. Observed stained pillows/pillow cases in the following rooms: 532, 401, 406, 425. All stains must be removed with bleach or replaced with new items

Observed chemical spray bottles missing labels. Advised PIC that once original label of chemical is removed from bottle, new hand-written label must be placed on the bottle stating the common name of chemical. Observed employee water bottle and purse touching clean linens and towels on housekeeping carts. Advised PIC that personal items must be stored in a way where it is not directly touching clean linens or single-service items. Advised to store personal items on bottom shelves of housekeeping carts. Housekeeper carts shall be so arranged that clean replacement supplies, clean linens, and cleaned and sanitized multi-use equipment and utensils shall be protected from soiled items being removed from each room. Soiled linens and refuse shall be placed in appropriate containers on housekeepers’ carts. Any spray bottle used in cleaning a tourist room or stored on thehousekeeping cart shall be labeled with its contents
