13-189(c)(1): Free chlorine residual shall be maintained at a concentration between 3 ppm and 10 ppm.

Observation: Measured chlorine at 0.06 ppm. CPO increased it to 9.7.

13-202(g): An operable, hard-wired telephone shall be provided.

Observation: Phone has power, but dispatch could not hear us and we couldn't hear them.

13-201(b): Deck rinse shall have hot water.

Observation: Deck rinse has no hot water.

13-190(a) Equipment shall be operated continuously on a twenty four hour basis to obtain the minimum required number of four turnovers per day. Observed that pool flow meter indicated 90 gpm however for a pool this size (45000 g) a turnover rate of 125 gpm is required.

13-189(c)(4) Pool water shall be tested for the disinfectant level and pH at least 2 times each day. Observed that daily record log showed that pool water was being tested twice weekly.

13-196(a)(4) Each skimmer shall have a properly designed operating weir or other departmentally approved means of providing effective skimming. Observed that every skimmer inside of the pool was missing weir.

13-184(c)(5) Imminent health hazard exists if sanitary facilities are not functional or if the facilities are not maintained in a clean and sanitary condition. Observed that restroom in pool area was not maintained; back of toilet exposed.

13-201(k): At all times, an adequate supply of liquid soap, toilet paper and paper towels shall be provided and stored in dispensers accessible to users. Observed that restroom for bathers attached to leasing office did not have access to an adequate supply of soap.

13-202(m): Rules must contain the minimum 12 statements listed in the pool code. Observed sign missing statement: "Bathers shall wear bathing attire".PIC in progress of obtaining new signage.

13-202(h)The telephone number of the pool operator, manager, and of the Health Department shall be posted at the telephone. Observed telephone number missing for pool operator and manager.

pH tested above 8.6. pH shall be maintained between 7.2-7.8. 13-189(c)(1)The pool shall be maintained in an alkaline condition at all times with a pH level between 7.2 – 7.8.

13-187(c) A copy of the pool operator’s certificate shall be conspicuously displayed near the operating permit. Observed no CPO certification.

Observed no hot water and low water pressure at hand sink in bathroom. 13-201(c)(3)1 lavatory, with tempered water with a temperature range of 70°F to 104°F shall be provided for each 100 men or women.

13-202(g): An operable telephone with 911 access shall be available at all times. Observed phone connected to operator, but connection cut out repeatedly and I was unable to communicate with operator.

13-202(h): The telephone of pool operator, manager, and health department shall be posted at the telephone. Observed only health department number listed by the phone.

13-193(a): Sand filter maintained and operating. Observed sand leaking into pool from inlets following backwash.

13-190(a)(7): An adequately sized flow meter shall be installed to accurately indicate circulation rate. Observed flow meter that was not functional.

13-188(d)(1): Depth markers indicated in both feet and inches. Observed vertical tile markers in 1/2 feet.
