Observed several packaged foods stored beyond use by or best by dates (heavy cream dated 6/10/26, shredded cheese dated 5/8/26, ricotta dated 5/15/26). Prepackaged sandwiches, eggs, infant formula, shucked oysters, milk, and time/temperature control safety foods that are labeled as “keep refrigerated” and that are for sale or service to the consumer or used as an ingredient in other foods shall be immediately discarded and shall not be sold, served, or used after the manufacturer’s expiration date or the sell-by date.

Observed several containers of food stored on the floor of the walk-in cooler. Food shall be protected from contamination by storing the food at least 6 inches (15 cm) above the floor.

Regulation: 511-6-1.05(10)(e)1&3 - single-service/single-use items stored 6" off floor in clean, dry location (c)
Observed several boxes of single-service/single-use items stored on floor of storage room. Single-service and single-use articles shall be stored at least 6 inches (15 centimeters) above the floor.
