Regulation: 511-3-5-.18(11)(h) - (h) access gates shall also comply with the requirements of this rule and shall be equipped to accommodate a locking device. barrier gates shall open away from the pool in facilities constructed after adoption of this chapter. pedestrian access gates
Observed self-closing/self-latching mechanism in disrepair making gate no avle to self-close/self-latch. Self-closing and self-latching mechanisms shall be maintained in a state of good repair. COS: CPO repaired self-closing/self-latching mechanism on gate.
22 - signs: peak occupancy/pool/spa/signs legible and in clearview
Regulation: 511-3-5-.18(12)(b) - (b) where no lifeguard is on duty, a sign or signs shall be placed in clear view at or near the entrance to the pool and shall state in clearly legible letters at least four inches high “warning - no life guard on duty and risk of drowning - supervis
Observed inadequate No Lifeguard on Duty signage. Where no lifeguard is on duty, a sign(s) shall be placed in clear view at or near the entrance of the pool and shall state in clearly legible letters at least 4 inches high Warning No lifeguard on Duty and Risk of Drowning, Supervise Children Closely. COS: CPO placed correct signage near entrance gate.
22 - signs: peak occupancy/pool/spa/signs legible and in clearview
Regulation: 511-3-5-.18(13)(c) - (c) a sign shall be posted stating the hours of operation in clear view near the entrance and shall state the theoretical peak occupancy.
Observed pool hours and theoretical peak occupancy signate not posted near the entrance of the pool. A sign stating the pool hours and theoretical peak occupancy shall be posted near the entrance of the pool. COS: CPO placed hours of operation and theoretical peak occupancy signage near the entrance of the pool.
24 - piping identified and marked
Regulation: 511-3-5-.08(6) - (6) all piping shall be marked with directional arrows as necessary to determine flow direction. all piping in the equipment room shall be permanently identified by its use and the pool and or aquatic feature it serves.
