8 - annual gas fired equipment inspection on file; gas units equipped with automatic safety and/or 100% cut-off pilot
Regulation: 511-6-2-.15(5) - heating and fire safety-inspection
EHS observed no gas-fired equipment inspection available for review. EHS spoke with the General Manager who indicated that they are in the process of acquiring a new inspection.
All gas-fired equipment shall be inspected at least annually by a qualified licensed contractor or local fire authority, if available. Points to be inspected are proper construction and installation, malfunctions and adjustments of controls and burners, faulty heat exchangers and vent obstructions. Any defects found on inspection must be corrected by a qualified heating contractor prior to use of the equipment. Upon request, the operator shall provide evidence of inspection and/or correction of any deficiency
CA: EHS advised the PIC that all gas-fired equipment shall be inspected at least annually by a qualified licensed contractor or local fire authority, if available; an inspection is to be acquired as soon as possible
27 - all furniture, waste receptacles, draperies, carpets; clean, and in good repair, considered the property of and furnished by the tourist accommodation
Regulation: 511-6-2-.14(5) - condition of furnishings
EHS observed the paint in the interior of the microwaves in rooms 119 and 213 to be peeling and the exposed surface to be rusty.
511-6-2-.14(5) - Condition of Furnishings All furniture, draperies, appliances, carpets, and other accessories, in the tourist accommodation, whether the property of the tourist accommodation owner or not, shall be considered the property of and furnished by the tourist accommodation for purposes of enforcement of this Chapter, and must be maintained in good repair, clean, and free of vermin.
CA: EHS advised the PIC that the appliances should either be repaired to the original finish, if possible, or discarded and replaced

EHS observed damage to the wall in room 121, exposing the dry wall. In room 213, the coving behind the bed was observed to be peeling and the a/c unit vent was observed to be missing the filter.

CA: EHS advised the PIC that damage observed to the wall should be repaired, the coving should be re-fixed to the wall, and filter should be acquired and placed in the a/c unit
28 - beds, mattresses, mattress pads, springs, frames, pillows, and bed coverings clean; vermin free and in good condition; bed linen properly supplied, changed and laundered
Regulation: 511-6-2-.14(6) - bed, bedding, and linens
EHS observed linen with yellow or dark colored stains in all rooms but room 213, and burns holes in the linen of rooms 114 and 121.
511-6-2-.14(6) - Bed, Bedding, and Linens Washable mattress pads or covers shall be used on all mattresses. Beds, mattresses, springs, slats, mattress pads, mattress and bed coverings, pillow and pillow covers shall be clean and free from vermin. Each bed shall be provided, as a minimum, with two sheets and one pillow and pillowcase. After each occupancy and upon the request of the occupant, sheets and pillowcases shall be changed with fresh laundered linens. During occupancy, linens shall be changed at a minimum frequency of not less than weekly.
CA: EHS advised the PIC that linen with stains and/or burn holes must be cleaned and replaced with new items; linen with holes should be repaired or discarded and items with stains should be discarded if stains can't be removed
35 - electrical work and materials in compliance; grounded and weatherproof outlets, properly located power lines
Regulation: 511-6-2-.18(6) - eletrical supply
EHS observed the A/C unit power plug connected into an exposed electrical junction box with no cover plate in rooms 119 and 121, with a noticeable black soot like precipitate around the connection in room 119. EHS spoke with the General Manger who stated that the electrical junction boxes were grandfathered-in like this.
511-6-2-.18(6) - Eletrical Supply Grounded and weather-proof electrical outlets supplying at least one-hundred- fifteen volts shall be provided at each trailer space. Power lines shall be located underground or suspended at least eighteen feet above ground. All electrical work and materials shall comply with the applicable International Electrical Code with Georgia Amendments and local laws, ordinances, or regulations.
CA: EHS advised the PIC that the junction box set-up is an electrical safety hazard. The box should be installed into the wall with a proper outlet and cover plate for protection
