Observed improper staff drinks (open cup) in food service areas. Staff drinks in food service areas shall be in single service sups with lids and straws, and stored to prevent potential contamination/spills. Drinks removed.
6-2 - proper date marking and disposition
Regulation: 511-6-1.04(6)(g) - ready-to-eat time/temperature control for safety food, date marking (pf)
Observed cherries stored beyond discard date of 6/3/26 and cornbread stored beyond discard date of 6/1/26. Staff discarded the items. Food shall be properly date marked and discarded by the marked discard date.
12A - contamination prevented during food preparation, storage, display

Observed boxes of potatoes stored on the floor in outside storage area. Food shall be stored 6' off the floor to prevent contamination. Staff stored the properly.
17D - adequate ventilation and lighting; designated areas used
Regulation: 511-6-1.07(2)(i) - light bulbs, protective shielding (c)
Observed unshielded light bulb in the walk-in cooler. Light bulbs shall be shielded, coated, or shatter-resistant to prevent contamination of food, equipment, utensils, and single-service items in the event of breakage.
