Observed food service permit not posted. CA: Food service permit shall be posted to public view. COS: A second copy was provided to facility for posting.

Observed employee drinks and personal items stored on rolling cart top shelf with single use items stored on bottom two shelves. CA: Employee personal items shall be stored in order to prevent potential contamination of facility food or equipment. COS: PIC discarded employee drinks, and relocated personal item.

Observed pans of food stored uncovered throughout the facility (waffle batter and sliced lemons in reach-in coolers, all meats in the reach-in meat cooler). CA: Food shall be stored covered to prevent overhead contamination. COS: PIC put lids on all containers of food.

Observed employee medications stored above single-use items. CA: Medicines stored in the facility shall be located to prevent the contamination of food, equipment, utensils, linens, and single-service articles. COS: PIC relocated items to the office.

Observed employee drink stored on top tier of shelf used for storing utensils and straws. Observed employee unopened Red Bull can and cell phone stored on prep top. CA: Discussed with PIC, items were all moved. Educated on storage of employee drinks, single use cup with lid and straw, and where to store employee personal items.
