Observed rust or stains on draperies and on lampshade in Room 419. Also observed a leftover burrito in microwave in room 419 (a supposed clean room). All furniture, draperies, appliances, carpets, and other accessories, in the tourist accommodation, whether the property of the tourist accommodation owner or not, shall be considered the property of and furnished by the tourist accommodation for purposes of enforcement of this Chapter, and must be maintained in good repair, clean, and free of vermin. Observed used wash rag on shower knob and used bath mat in bathroom of "clean" room (#307). While being used by tourists, every surface of a bathtub, shower, shower enclosure, toilet, and lavatory, which may come in contact with a person's body, must be sanitized each day, unless the guest has declined regular tourist room services. If a tourist declines regular tourist room services, the tourist accommodation facility must ensure that these surfaces are cleaned and sanitized at least once per week and between tourists. PIC states staff will be retrained on cleaning procedures
