Observed food employee chewing in the main kitchen area while prepping food items for salad. Employees shall consume food only in approved designated areas separate from food preparation and serving areas, equipment or utensil areas and food storage areas. COS - Health authority informed PIC about observation and PIC had employee discard item.
18 - insects, rodents, and animals not present
Regulation: 511-6-1.07(5)(o) - prohibiting animals (pf)
Observed several dead bugs throughout the main kitchen and the ware washing area. Dead or trapped birds, rodents, and other pests shall be removed from control devices and the premises at a frequency that prevents their accumulation, decomposition, or the attraction of pests. COS - PIC had dead bugs removed.
