Observed food service employee prepping food without wearing a hairnet. Employees preparing or handling food shall use effective and clean, disposable or easily cleanable nets or other hair restraints approved by the Health Authority, worn properly to restrain loose hair including beards and mustaches longer than one half inch. Employee placed on hair restraint.

Observed two spray bottles stored near warewashing machine holding detergent cleaner not labeled. Working containers used for storing poisonous or toxic materials such as cleaners and sanitizers taken from bulk supplies shall be clearly and individually identified with the common name of the material. Employee labeled spray bottles.

Observed live nats in several areas on the kitchen. The presence of insects, rodents, and other pests shall be controlled to minimize their presence on the premises by:

1. Routinely inspecting incoming shipments of food and supplies;

2. Routinely inspecting the premises for evidence of pests;

3. Using methods, if pests are found, such as trapping devices or other means of pest control as specified under subsections (6)(e), (6)(m), and (6)(n) of this Rule; Pf and

4. Eliminating harborage conditions.

Observed paperwork showing facility was last treated by Orkin Pest Control on 6/7/2023. Person in charge stated the facility is treated on a weekly basis. Priority foundation item must be corrected in 10 calendar days.
