8 - annual gas fired equipment inspection on file; gas units equipped with automatic safety and/or 100% cut-off pilot
Regulation: 511-6-2-.15(5) - heating and fire safety-inspection
Observed most current inspection report for gas-fired equipment inspection not available or accessible at the time of the inspection. All gas-fired equipment shall be inspected at least annually by a qualified licensed contractor or local fire authority, if available. Upon request, the operator shall provide evidence of inspection and/or correction of any deficiency. Must correct within 24 hours
28 - beds, mattresses, mattress pads, springs, frames, pillows, and bed coverings clean; vermin free and in good condition; bed linen properly supplied, changed and laundered

Observed stains on bedding and linens in rooms 303, 218, 417. Also observed hairs on sheets in room 404. Beds, mattresses, springs, slats, mattress pads, mattress and bed coverings, pillow and pillow covers shall be clean and free from vermin. [COS] Head housekeeper removed stained sheets and had housekeeper replace with new bedding. Repeat

Observed most current inspection report posted on the wall to the right behind the front desk where it is not visible or where it can be read at a distance of one foot away. The most recent tourist accommodation inspection report form shall be prominently displayed in public view at all times, between five feet and seven feet from the floor and in a public area such as the registration desk, where it can be read at a distance of one foot away. Repeat. Must correct within 30 days

Regulation: 511-6-2-.13(2) - insect and rodent control-records
Observed pest control records not being maintained and/or available at the request of the Health Authority. Observed most current inspection report available and not at least 18 months worth. A record must be maintained on file and available at request of Health Authority for no less than 18 months of any pesticide use on the premises, except for the occasional use of consumer insect sprays on small spots in accordance with the product label. Must correct within 30 days
