Observed heavy buildup of grime on cooler door handle near the fryer.

observed very dusty vents and ceiling tiles. Floors are also very dirty and have buildup of food under equipment. Soda box shelve must be cleaned around and under it. Vent above soda box shelve is very dirty. Vents above food prep area is very dusty. Boxes in the dry storage area are also covered in dirt and grime.

Observed large buildup of grime on several soda nozzles by drive-thru, and several nozzles in lobby soda fountain that were a little dirty. CA: Make sure soda nozzles are being cleaned regularly, and increase frequency of cleaning if necessary.

Observed all employees in kitchen preparing and cooking foods with no hair restraints. CA: All employees working in kitchen that are preparing or cooking foods must have on proper hair restraints. Proper hair restraints include: hair nets, hats/caps, and visors.

Observed drive-thru window not properly closing and sealing when done being used. CA: Have window fixed so that it is properly sealed when it is closed, or have an air curtain installed.

Observed no thermometer in the reach-in prep cooler located near the ice machine. CA: All refrigerated units must have a working thermometer.

Observed several openings around back door and bottom of single dining room door. Also observed drive-thru window not automatically closing after being opened. CA: Fill holes in the back door and add more lining to the side and bottom left corner to fill holes. Add lining/sweep to bottom of dining room door. Fix drive thru window so it automatically closes. Remind staff to manually shut the drive thru window fully when not in use until the window is fixed. Another solution would be to place an air curtain outside the drive thru window to act as appropriate pest control.

Observed several damaged ceiling tiles, missing ceiling tiles, and dirty or missing light shields throughout kitchen. CA: Ceiling throughout kitchen needs to be clean and well maintained. Light shields need to be clean and free of bugs and stains at all times. Missing light shields and ceiling tiles need to be replaced. Fix vent shields that are misshapen.
