Observed pastries, Grits not covered or protected from contamination. Corrective action (CA) foods shall be covered, protected, or resealed properly unless they are actively in the cooling process. Corrective on-site. All concerned foods were covered during the inspection.
6-2 - proper date marking and disposition

Observed ham, milk, tomato, and turkey- multiple food items stored in the 4-door cooler not date-marked as required. CA: Ensure ready-to-eat foods, time/temperature control for safety foods are date marked with the discard time if they are held for more than 24 hours.

Observed several foods item expired and were not discarded after the discard date. Potato salad, chicken salad, ham, and tomatoes.

Observed heavy buildup of ice inside the dining room reach-in cooler and buildup in the prep top cooler.
