Observed numerous containers of food removed from original packaging or made in-house without proper food label indicating the common name. CA: all food items made in-house or removed from original packaging must be labelled to indicate the common name of the food item.

Observed the facility not yet implementing a method of allergen notification for consumer. CA: unpackaged food items containing a major food allergen as an ingredient must have a written notification declaring which major food allergens are contained in that food item.

Observed an employee engaged in food prep wearing beaded bracelets.CA: hands and wrists must be free of jewelry with the exception of plain wedding bands when handling food. COS: employee stopped food prep, removed jewelry, washed hands, and resume food prep.

Observed an employee engaged in food prep without proper hair restraint donned. CA: all food handling employees must wear proper head and facial hair restraint when hair is longer than 1/2". COS: employee stopped food prep, donned hair restraint, washed hands, and resumed food prep.
14D - gloves used properly
Regulation: 511-6-1.04(4)(n)2,3,4 - gloves, use limitations, slash resistant gloves & cloth gloves (c)
Observed an employee don gloves to engage in food handling without hand washing first. CA: hands must be properly washed and dried prior to donning gloves. COS: employee removed gloves, washed and dried hands, and redonned gloves for food handling.
