Re-inspection
Observed gate is not automatically closing or latching. Entrance gate must automatically close and latch. This inspection it was observed that the springs are pulling the gate open. Repair gate so it will automatically close and latch.
Observed vacuum release system VRS to be disconnected. All single main drain pools must have an operational VRS. Connect VRS or replace if this one is no longer operational. It was also observed that one of the three suction pipes has been cut and capped. Josh with ASP was called to see if this is the main drain pipe. He was not sure but said he will ask the person who worked on the pool. If the main drain is disabled then the VRS will not be needed.
Free chlorine is high at 16ppm. The allowable range for free chorine is 2ppm-10ppm. Reduce free chlorine to within allowable range.
Observed original life ring in the trash can. The life ring is hollow plastic and holding water inside. I did not observe any markings on the life ring. There is no throw rope attached to the life ring. Replace with a U.S. Coast Guard approved life ring with a rope attached that is 1.5 times the width of the pool. I did not observe a replacement life ring in place during inspection.
Observed international no diving symbols have been put in place but they are all 5-6 feet away from the waters edge. Place the international no diving symbol within 18 inches of the water edge on the deck.
(a) The words "No Diving" and the universal international symbol for “NO DIVING” shall be permanently visible at the edge of the deck for water five feet in depth or less, placed only on the deck beside the depth markers, and shall conform to that outlined for depth markers in subsections (3)(a) thru (h) above.
(b) Depth markers on the deck shall be within eighteen inches of the water edge and positioned to be read while standing on the deck facing the water.

Observed the pool was so cloudy the main drains were not visible. The main drains/bottom of the pool shall be visible at all times. Clarify the pool so that the bottom of the pool is visible.
Observed several chlorine tablets in a pool skimmer. Chlorine tablets can only be dispensed with a chlorine dispenser. Do not use the skimmer for dispensing chlorine. New chlorine dispenser recently installed seems small. Please call if you need assistance sizing a new chlorine dispenser.
Observed life ring floating in the pool. The life ring is hollow plastic and holding water inside. I did not observe any markings on the life rong. There is no throw rope attached to the life ring. Replace with a U.S. Coast Guard approved life ring with a rope attached that is 1.5 times the width of the pool.
