27: .14(5)Observed debris underneath couch cushions in rooms inspected. [.14(5)] All furniture, draperies, appliances, carpets, and other accessories, in the tourist accommodation, whether the property of the tourist accommodation owner or not, shall be considered the property of and furnished by the tourist accommodation for purposes of enforcement of this Chapter, and must be maintained in good repair, clean, and free of vermin. Corrective Actions: Person in charge (PIC) contacted housekeeping and removed debris from the couch.

25: .14(1)Observed an accumulation of dust and debris on floors under the desk of rooms inspected. [.14(1)] Floors, walls, ceilings. windows, doors and all other appurtenances shall be of sound construction, properly maintained in good repair and shall be kept clean. In all new constructed and extensively remodeled residential kitchens used in bed and breakfast inns, coved base molding may be required. Walls and ceilings in residential kitchens shall be easily cleanable and light colored.

1: .07(2)Observed multiple rooms with a water temperature of over 120 degrees. (see comments) Hot water in all guest rooms shall not exceed 120ºF. Corrective Actions: Water temperature was turned down at both water heaters to ensure room temperature below 120 dgrees.

34: .18(1),(2,)(3),(4),(5)Observed trash being stored in walkways throughout facility. [.18(1),(2,)(3),(4)(5)] All walkways, porches, and hallways shall be maintained in good repair. Only articles necessary to the operation and maintenance of the establishment shall be stored on the premises. Corrective Actions: All trash was removed and placed in dumpster.
