Regulation: 511-3-5-.23(5)(d) - (d) the water turbidity is such that the suction outlet/main drain cover or a standard white marker tile on the bottom of the deepest portion of the pool cannot be seen.
THE POOL WAS GREEN IN COLOR AND THE TURBIDITY LEVEL OF THE WATER WAS NOT CLEAR ENOUGH TO BE ABLE TO SEE THE DRAIN COVER. THE PIC STATED THEY HAVE NOT BEEN ADDING ANY CHEMICALS TO THE POOL SINCE THE PUMP WENT OUT.
Regulation: 511-3-5-.23(5)(c ) - (c) the pump, automatic disinfectant equipment, or other equipment necessary for continuous filtration and disinfection of the swimming pool, spa, or recreational water park attraction is not working or is unable to maintain adequate turnover rate.
PUMP NOT CURRENTLY IN PROPER WORKING ORDER. PIC (SAM) STATED A NEW PUMP WAS ORDERED AND WOULD TAKE 2-3 WEEKS TO BE INSTALLED. THEY WILL CALL FOR A RE-INSPECTION BEFORE OPENING THE POOL.
Permit/Opening
Regulation: 511-3-5-.18(17) - (17) a minimum of one rinse shower shall be provided on the pool deck of all public pools and spas. water used for rinse showers may be at ambient temperature.
OBSERVED SHOWER NOT OPERATIONAL AT TIME OF ARRIVAL. PIC HAD EMPLOYEE REPAIR DURING INSPECCTION AS REQUESTED BY THE DEPARTMENT.
