Observed employee drink stored on dry storage racking not in a single service lid, cup, and straw. CA: COS: CFSM discarded drink and will educate staff on proper employee drink requirements and storage.
2-2D - adequate handwashing facilities supplied & accessible
Regulation: 511-6-1.06(2)(o) - using a handwashing sink- operation & maintenance (pf)
Observed handwash sink blocked by service cart in main kitchen. CA; Handwash sinks shall be accessible at all times. COS: CFSM removed service cart.
12A - contamination prevented during food preparation, storage, display
Regulation: 511-6-1.04(4)(q) - food storage (c)
Observed tubs of liquid margarine stored directly on floor in main kitchen. CA: Food shall be stored at least 6 inches above the ground. COS: CFSM had food items relocated to pallets for storage 6 inches above the ground.
18 - insects, rodents, and animals not present
Regulation: 511-6-1.07(2)(m) - outer openings protected (c)
Observed daylight entering through bottom of back exit door in main kitchen. CA: All exterior doors shall be self closing and tight fitting as o not allow daylight and pests enter through. COS: CFSM will have door threshold repaired. Door will be rechecked by Health Department.
14A - in-use utensils: properly stored
Regulation: 511-6-1.04(4)(k) - in-use utensils, between-use storage (c)
Observed scoops in rice, and sugar containers stored with handle touching food items. CA: Handles of in use food items while being stored in food shall have their handles stored out of the food. COS: CFSM was notified, scoops were arranged to have handles stored out of the food items.
