1. Areas designated for employees to eat, drink, and use tobacco shall be located so that food, equipment, linens, and single-service and single-use articles are protected from contamination. Note: Observed employee's food container co-mingling with facility food and drinks in RIC in drive-thru. PIC removed food container from RIC and educated staff on appropriate location of personal food.

11-6-1.05(2)(x) - TMD, Located in Refrigerators/ Hot Holding (Pf, C) (x) Temperature Measuring Devices.

1. In a mechanically refrigerated or hot food storage unit, the sensor of a temperature measuring device shall be located to measure the air temperature in the warmest part of a mechanically refrigerated unit and in the coolest part of a hot food storage unit. Note: Each RIC was observed to be missing a temperature measuring device during time of inspection.PIC stated thermometers would be ordered and placed in each refrigeration unit.

511-6-1.06(5)(o),(p) - Using Drain Plugs; Maintaining Refuse Areas (C)

(p) Maintaining Refuse Areas and Enclosures. A storage area and enclosure for refuse, recyclables, or returnables shall be maintained free of unnecessary items and clean. Note: Multiple boards of carboard were observed on the ground of the waste receptacle area that appeared to be covering/ absorbing grease that has spilled. PIC stated a new form of disposing the grease from the grill would be looked into and the cardboard would be properly disposed of.
