Advised PIC to ensure employee beverages are in a single service beverage cup with a secure lid and straw that is handled to prevent contamination of the employee’s hands, the container, exposed food, clean equipment, utensils and linens, unwrapped single-service and single-use articles.

Observed yogurts in the memory care refrigeration unit at 45F. COS- yogurts were discarded during the inspection. Advised PIC to repair/ replace reach-in cooler in memory care area to maintain TCS foods at or below 41F.
No CSFM certificate present for anyone employed at the facility. Advise PIC to obtain a Certified food safety manager certificate rapidly.

Observed the hand sink blocked by a pan cart in the back of the cook area. COS- rolling rack moved to provide access to hand sink. Advised PIC to have hand sink accessible at all times.

Observed the hot water has been cut off at the prep sinks. Advised to turn on hot water supply. Advised to provide a minimum of 110F at the prep sinks at all times.

Observed the serving station ice bin is drained with a water hose tapped to drain outlet and the hose is lying across the floor to the floor drain. Advised PIC to repair/replace that there is no pooling water in the drain line and an air gap is provided at the floor drain.
Observed ice scoop well is in disrepair. Advise PIC to repair/replace.

Observed the sink handle are of the cookline prep sinks are dirty. Advised detail cleaning and clean with a frequency to prevent build up at handles.
