Food worker was observed handling raw hamburger patties, then touching clean food pans at dish area and opening cooler doors without removing gloves or washing hands. Employee was also observed handling raw hamburger patties, then removing gloves and switching to other tasks without properly washing hands. Corrective Action: PIC was notified. Employee was stopped immediately when violations occurred and directed to hand sink for proper washing prior to continuing work. All cross contaminated surfaces were properly cleaned and sanitized. Employees were educated on proper hand wash procedures, especially after handling raw animal foods.
