The turnover for the pool is not sufficient. The pool equipment may not be functioning properly. CA: The equipment for a swimming pool shall be of adequate size to turn over the entire pool water capacity. If further violations occur based on insufficient turnover, then further investigation into the pool equipment must be done prior to permitting next season.

The depth markers on the pool wall do not have the letters in at least 4" letter height. Depth markers number and letters shall be tile and four inches minimum in height. Numbers shall be of contrasting color to the background on which they are applied.

Weirs were not present in all skimmers. CA: Skimmers shall have weirs that adjust automatically to water level.

Written documentation of the CPOs visits are not on site or not readily available. CA: Operators records from their visits shall be on site or readily available.

Observed that the facility did not have the pool risks sign posted. CA: Pool shall have the pool risks posted and meet all required height and verbaige requirements.

Observed that the life guard signage is faded and incorrect. CA: When no lifeguard is on duty, a sign or signs shall be placed in clear view that reads, “WARNING - NO LIFE GUARD ON DUTY and RISK OF DROWNING - SUPERVISE CHILDREN CLOSELY”.

The emergency call box does not consistently contact 911 emergency. The first try gave an error- almost like a fax- or 2 lines ringing together, then it cut off. The second try went to 911 emergency. The third try went to 911 admin line- she indicated there was no address associated with this call since it's an admin line and not 911 emergency. The emergency phone must consistently connect to 911 and remain reliable at all times.

The pH exceeds the maximum allowance of 7.8. Ensure pH levels are brought down to acceptable level of 7.2-7.8. pH feeder may need to be installed to properly maintain pool pH if normal maintenance visits are not sufficient to maintain pH.

The pool is not maintaining proper turnover. The equipment for the pool may not be functioning in the proper manner for required turnover. Monitor the flow all season and if 212 gpm can not be met and maintained, then updates to equipment must be made prior to next season.

Observed that the phone was not working. CA: Facility shall have an operable, hard-wired, conventional telephone or continuously powered, weatherproof emergency phone.
