Observed a box of onion rings on the floor in the WIF. CA: Food shall be protected from contamination by storing the food at least 6 inches (15 cm) above the floor. PIC put the box on the shelf.
17D - adequate ventilation and lighting; designated areas used
Regulation: 511-6-1.07(4)(b) - designated areas for employee activity, located to prevent contamination of food, equipment, utensils, linens, & single service articles (c)
Observed employee's food (noodles) on the shelf in the WIC with food items that will be served to customers. CA: Areas designated for employees to eat, drink, use tobacco products and electronic devices shall be located so that food, equipment, linens, and single-service and single-use articles are protected from contamination. PIC removed the item from the WIC.
