#37 The equipment room or enclosure and any storage area used for pool supplies, additional equipment, or chemical shall be kept clean, safe and adequately lighted. Approved overhead protection shall be provided to completely cover the entire equipment room or enclosure.

(b) Ventilation and drainage. Ready access, suitable drainage and ventilation of fresh make-up air must be provided for all equipment rooms. The enclosure must be ventilated with outside air by a chlorine-resistant exhaust fan with vents that are located a maximum of four inches (4") above the floor level, equipped with automatic louvers for cross-flow ventilation located at the top of the enclosure for admitting fresh air, and capable of providing one (1) enclosure air change every three (3) minutes.

The entire enclosure shall have a concrete floor that slopes one-quarter inch per foot (1/4" / 1) to a floor drain connected to a sanitary sewer. A hose bibb with an approved backflow prevention system shall be provided in the equipment room or enclosure.
