Observed ineffective fence barrier with a few openings of more than 4' in sphere.

13-202(a)(1): The barrier shall not have any openings wherein a sphere, 4' in diameter is able to be passed through any portion of the barrier. Maximum chain link fence mesh opening is 1 1/4 inch.

Property management will fix the fence as soon as possible and reach back to reschedule. Until the fence is fixed, the pool must be closed.

No operational emergency phone available at time of the inspection.

13-202(g): An operable, hard-wired, weatherproof telephone, with direct 911 access or capability installed in a conspicuous location shall be readily available at all times within the pool enclosure.

CPO will fix the emergency phone as soon as possible. Once the phone is fixed will reschedule the permitting inspection.

13-202(m)- Rules shall contain at a minimum the 12 statements in the pool code. Observed some of the rules missing on the pool risks signs.

13-201(k) At all times, an adequate supply of paper towels, soap, and toilet paper shall be provided and stored. Observed men and women restrooms lacking paper towels.

13-196(a) The actual water level shall be maintained within the operation water level range of the system's skimmer weir device or gutter rim. Observed water level range unable to maintain the operation of the system's weir.

13-189(c)(1) Free-chlorine residual shall be maintained between 3-10ppm at all times. Observed chlorine residual at 11.68ppm. COS: Chlorine corrected to 9.61ppm.

13-202(I) Tightly stretched float line shall be installed across the pool. Observed float line not in position and on the pool deck. COS: Float line was put in position.

13-202(b) A copy of the pool operator's certificate shall be conspicuously displayed near the operating permit. Observed expired certified pool operator certificate displayed. Advised CPO to display a new one.

13-202(m)- Rules must contain at a minimum the 12 statements in the pool code. Observed pool rules missing several of the 12 rules. CPO took picture of the pool rules sample they can use. "Children must be accompanied by an adult" and "No solo bathing must be in 4 inch letters and must state where 911 telephone is located on sign.

The phone was cutting in and out. I called it twice and had the same result. 911 phone must be repaired so that you can hear the 911 operator clearly.

13-189(c)(1) Free-chlorine residual shall be maintained between 3-10ppm at all times. Observed chlorine residual at 1.91ppm.

13-189(c)(1) Pool shall be maintained between pH levels of 7.2-7.8 at all times. pH observed at 6.8.

13-197(i) No disinfectant can be added by hand as the sole or primary method of adding disinfectant. Observed multiple chlorine tablets in skimmer. Advised PIC that it is illegal to add disinfectant through skimmers and if caught doing that again, both the property manager and pool operator will be subject to tickets and fines.
