Employees shall consume food only in approved designated areas separate from food preparation and serving areas, equipment or utensil areas and food storage areas. “Food” means a raw, cooked, or processed edible substance, ice, beverage, or ingredient used or intended for use or for sale in whole or in part for human consumption, or chewing gum. COS: Food employee discarded gum in a waste container.

The Person in Charge could not provide details or proof during the inspection that a proper disinfectant would be utilized for responding to a vomiting or diarrheal event in the the establishment. Establishment has a Biozahard kit in the manager's office but it was expired. Manager will order a new kit and retrain employees on clean-up of vomiting/diarrheal events.
