Observed ring buoys without the required throwing rope attached. CA: A minimum one-fourth inch diameter throwing rope one and one-half times the maximum width of the pool or fifty feet in length, whichever is less, to which has been firmly attached a ring buoy with an outside diameter of approximately fifteen inches. PIC will install throwing rope to ring buoys.

Observed incomplete list of pool rules/risks posted near pool. CA: The same sign in subsection (b) above or an additional sign will state under the heading “Pool Risks” the following items in clearly legible letters at least one inch high: PIC will post a complete list of pool risks in the pool area, which can be found on page 88 of the Georgia Swimming Pool Rules and Regulations.

Observed free chlorine measuring at 0.8 ppm. CA: According to the State of Georgia Rules and Regulations, free chlorine in public pools should range from 1.0-10.0 ppm. PIC will work on the free chlorine in the pool today and bring it back up to range and I will re-test by Wednesday (07/09/2025).

Observed free chlorine level at 12 ppm. CA: Free Chlorine levels must be between 2.0-10.0 ppm. PIC will make sure pool is treated properly as soon as possible.

Observed free chlorine level at 14.2 ppm. CA: The max free chlorine in a pool should range from 2.0 ppm - 10.0 ppm. PIC will have pool treated to decrease free chlorine level as soon as possible.

Observed recent inspection report not posted in a location that is visible to consumers at all times. CA: The operator shall receive a copy of the inspection and place it in a location protected from the weather and in public view as designated by the health authority. PIC will post most recent inspection report by today.

Observed permit not posted in a location that is visible to consumers at all times. CA: Permits must be posted inn area that is visible to consumers. PIC will post permit by today.
