Observed inadequate turnover rate during time of inspection, pool not meeting required 6 hour turnover rate (1 flow meter inoperable; advised to repair to ensure 6 hour turnover rate or better.) Advised CPO The equipment for a swimming pool shall be of adequate size to turn over the entire pool water capacity.

Observed 1 flow meter inoperable. Advised to repair and ensure pool is getting 6 hours turnover rate or better. Could not observe if pump and filter was working properly. CA: Flow meters shall be working.

Observed pH reading of 8.0, exceeding the maximum level of 7.8 CA: Reduce to between 7.2 to 7.8

Observed no self closing, self latching fitting on vacuum port. Advised to place self closing/latching cover.

Observed both flow meters inoperable. Advised to repair and ensure pool is getting 6 hours turnover rate or better. Could not observe if pump and filter was working properly. CA: Flow meters shall be working.

All skimmers missing weirs. Advised to place weirs in all skimmers. CA: All skimmers shall have working weirs.

Observed ladder coming off decking. Advised to repair. CA: Handrails shall b kept in good repair and installed so they may only be removed by a tool.

Observed no soap in men's and women's restrooms. Advised to place soap and clean both restrooms.

Upon arrival, observed Sheppard's hook not attached. Advised PIC a light, strong pole not less than twelve feet long including body hook. COS: Had CPO attach sheppard's hook to pool.

Observed inadequate turnover rate during time of inspection, pool not meeting required turnover rate of 6 hours. Advised CPO The equipment for a swimming pool shall be of adequate size to turn over the entire pool water capacity. The turnover rate for pools constructed after the adoption of this chapter shall not exceed the sum of one and one-half times the average water depth in feet; where the number of hours is equal to the number feet calculated, or exceed once every six hours whichever is less. Unless the rate is otherwise specified in subsection (b) below. This system shall be designed to give the proper turnover rate based on the manufacturer's recommended maximum pressure flow of the filter in dirty media condition of the filter, immediately prior to cleaning the filter.

Observed missing flow meter on second return line to the pool. Advised PIC A flow meter measuring the rate of flow through the filter system with an appropriate range readable in gallons per minute (GPM) and accurate within ten percent actual flow shall be provided. The flow indicator shall be capable of measuring from one-half to at least one and one-half times the design flow rate. The gauge shall be located after the filtering equipment and in such location on the return line, so as to measure the total amount of water returning to the pool according to the manufacturer’s installation specifications.

Observed inadequate turnover rate during time of inspection. Advised CPO the equipment for the swimming pool shall be of adequate size to turnover the entire pool capacity.

Observed missing "No Diving" tile markers at all depth markers of the pool. Advised CPO the words "No Diving" shall be permanently visible at the edge of the deck for water 5ft or less placed only beside the depth markers in 4-inch lettering and in contrasting color.
