4 ptsCorrected: NoRepeat: Yes

At time of inspection, the cyanuric acid (CYA) level registered at 141 ppm (CYA must be 90 ppm or less). CPO will drain some water and add some fresh water, to ensure that CYA is below 90 ppm.

4 ptsCorrected: NoRepeat: No

At time of inspection, the rope and float line is missing from the pool. Replace the rope and float line.

21 - cyanuric acid level not exceeding maximum

Regulation: 511-3-5-.17(4) - (4) stabilizer (if used) cyanuric acid, ppm ideal: 30-50 maximum: 90 comments: if stabilizer is: too high: - may reduce chlorine efficacy too low: - chlorine residual rapidly destroyed by sunlight note: stabilizer is not needed in indoor or br

4 ptsCorrected: NoRepeat: No

At time of inspection, the cyanuric acid (CYA) level registered at 145 ppm (CYA must be 90 ppm or less). CPO will drain some water and add some fresh water, to ensure that CYA is below 90 ppm.

26 - gauge(s) in proper location; sight glass installed

Regulation: 511-3-5-.07(4)(a) - (a) a pressure or vacuum gauge or other means of indicating system condition shall be provided in the circulation system in an easily readable location.

4 ptsCorrected: NoRepeat: No

At time of inspection, the pressure gauge on the sand filter is not functioning. Replace the pressure gauge.

22 - signs: peak occupancy/pool/spa/signs legible and in clearview

Regulation: 511-3-5-.18(12)(c) - (c) the same sign in subsection (b) above or an additional sign will state under the heading “pool risks” the following items in clearly legible letters at least one inch high:

19 - adequate turnover rate

Regulation: 511-3-5-.07(1)(a) - (a) the equipment for a swimming pool shall be of adequate size to turn over the entire pool water capacity. the turnover rate for pools constructed after the adoption of this chapter shall not exceed the sum of one and one-half times the average wat

5 ptsCorrected: NoRepeat: No

At time of inspection, the turnover rate is lower than necessary. The flow meter was observed at 80 GPM (design flow rate is 208 GPM for this pool). CPO has one pump off at the time of inspection, waiting for order of cartridges for second filter to arrive. Once they arrive, the second pump will be back on, increasing turnover.
