Observed facility could not provide waster testing logs for August. (1) All swimming pools and spas covered by this Chapter shall be maintained under the supervision and direction of a properly trained operator who shall be responsible for the sanitation, safety, and proper maintenance of the pool and all related equipment, and for and daily recordkeeping. EHS informed the PIC of the need to inform the CPO to leave a copy of the water test logs.

Observed high combined chlorine levels on all 3 attempts. 1) Disinfectant Levels (a) Free chlorine, ppm in pools not using cyanuric acid or a stabilized chlorine compound use (b),1.-5. EHS informed PIC of the need to have the pool company balance the water chemistry.

Observed pool hours needing to be posted at or near the entrance gate as entry can obtained from other outdoor sources other than the designated entry point. c) A sign shall be posted stating the hours of operation in clear view near the entrance and shall state the theoretical peak occupancy. EHS informed PIC of the need to post the pool hours and bather load at the pool entrance gate; bather load to be a minimum of 4 inches in height.

Observed flow meter in operation but not providing and accurate reading as the ball was holding at the top of the tube with a high flow rate of approximately 140. (b) A flow meter measuring the rate of flow through the filter system with an appropriate range readable in gallons per minute (GPM) and accurate within ten percent actual flow shall be provided. The flow indicator shall be capable of measuring from one-half to at least one and one-half times the design flow rate. The gauge shall be located after the filtering equipment and in such location on the return line, so as to measure the total amount of water returning to the pool according to the manufacturer’s installation specifications. EHS informed the owner of the need to have the pool servicing company address the issue.

Observed low calcium hardness levels. EHS informed owner of the need to contact the pool servicing company to address the issue.

Observed little to no chlorine present in the pool. (c) Free Chlorine level in pools using cyanuric acid or a stabilized chlorine product; Minimum 2.0 Ideal 2.0-5.0 Maximum 10.0. EHS informed the owner and management of the need to contact the pool servicing company to address the issue.

Observed the combined chlorine levels ranging from .41 to .61 from samples taken from two areas of the pool. EHS informed PIC of the need to contact the pool servicing company to address the issue.

Observed facility's flow meter not working. Observed low alkalinity and calcium hardness levels. EHS informed the owner of the need to contact the pool servicing company to address the issue.

Observed pool missing NO DIVING on the deck next to the depth markers. after approximately 30 minutes. EHS informed PIC of the need to place NO DIVING in 4 INCH letters along the deck next to each depth markers where space is available as current depth markers take up much of the space.

Observed facility's flow meter is not working.
